At Extra Edge Performance, our mission is to empower Gaelic Games athletes of all levels through personalised, high-quality coaching that accelerates skill development, builds confidence, and fosters a lifelong love for the sport. Head Coach Extra Edge Performance

Cathy Carey is the founder and lead coach at Extra Edge Performance, offering tailored 1-on-1 Gaelic Games coaching across all levels and abilities. As a current senior player with Moneyglass and former Antrim Ladies Senior Captain, Cathy understands the demands of high-level Gaelic football and camogie—both as a player and coach. A former dual player at club and county level, she combines first-hand experience with coaching knowledge to offer players of all ages a unique edge. Her coaching journey spans nearly two decades, from grassroots underage development to university and club-level.
